The straight “Polka Dotty” skirt was the first garment that I sewed with my Grandmother’s sewing machine in twenty years. Following the Sew What! Skirts directions for turning my measurements into a pattern was a cinch.
I didn’t have a zipper foot, and was too crazed to leave my half-finished skirt to purchase one, so I made due without, and it shows! Despite my two meandering seams and half-a-dozen unplanned darts, in the end I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect fit!
